Do any of you think the last name paired with Obama counts for anything in the choosing?

As an example, picture these on signs or on bumper stickers:

Obama/Bayh

Obama/Kaine

Obama/Clark.

The third one clearly looks the strongest.  It sounds the strongest. It is the strongest.

One thing about Obama/Bayh is that it reads like two very foreign guys.  The dumbasses that elected GWB twice don't like this.  There's not many people who will get "Bye" out of "Bayh" unless they've heard someone else say it.  

Kaine doesn't look or sound good when paired with Obama either. The guy also looks like Liev Schreiber , who isn't the nicest guy in a lot of his roles.

The very fact that this war-humping McCain uses the words "Cold War" is fantastic.

A week or two ago I made a diary asking why we weren't wrecking John McCain.

This diary was responded to with the diary of another MyDD user, who did a great job outlining the way we WERE in fact "wrecking" him. I thought it was a good diary.

Until Obama has shown himself to ever...so....slowly....decline....in... every..way..possible.

Bullshit.  This is 2008, last year of the worst president in modern history, and he happens to be a Republican. If you're a Democratic Presidential Nominee and you're BEHIND IN THE POLLS, after being AHEAD---THERE IS A PROBLEM.

So I'm a troll because I'm "concerned?"

Sorry Obamafans, I'm not concerned because I love Obama so much, or because I love John Mccain so much and want to see him win by saying Obama will lose.

Here's a short list of things that concern me:

1. The wellbeing of myself, my wife, my kids, my grandkids--in any order.

2. The wellbeing of all of you, and 99.9 percent of the people who walk this earth.

3. Earth itself.

I am so fucking pissed off at Barack Obama and his campaign for being complete and total WIMPS at responding to this nonsense. The incompetence is unbelievable.

The solution is simple--Put GWB around McCain like a 5 ton weight he can't go anywhere without.

WHY ARE THEY NOT DOING THAT? WHY!

We CANNOT afford to lose this election.  Especially on the count of yet another person who has no idea how to defend himself or the people who support him.  The people who NEED him to be something more, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Watching him DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING EFFECTIVE is fucking TERRIBLE.

But it is.  Who is going to disagree with this?  We are doing fucking terrible right now, when we should be soaring.  

Barack Obama is acting like such a fucking loser, and it's making me sick.  

HE IS ACTING LIKE SOMEONE WHO LOSES THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN DECADES.

John McCain:

-Has an ad out blaming Barack Obama for the gas prices.

-Has an ad out saying Barack Obama had time to go to the gym, but not go visit the wounded troops. Even though, hilariously, the footage they use of Obama at the gym is the one in Kuwait.

-Has said Barack Obama would like to lose a war.

Barack Obama:

-Has remained silent.  Except giving a generic, and very disappointing response to McCain's ridiculous assertion of his patriotism.

The guy is barely 5 points ahead of McCain in national polls, and losing ground quickly in swing states.   There are 1.2 billion ways to absolutely obliterate McCain and his campaign, and I have seen ZERO effort to do so thus far.  They are letting themselves be attacked, and attacked, and attacked some more.  The idiots that put GWB in power truly aren't smart enough to see through the bullshit.  Not at all.  Does anyone have any idea about what gives?

This is the second diary I've made about this issue, about Obama not hitting back at all... but the stakes are way higher than before.  John McCain is saying some insane shit. Yet there's nothing coming out from our camp, and there is damn well enough ammo just in the past week to last until November.

But none of it is being used.  I don't get it.  And I'm a bit pissed at them.

But it's not the right diary, when in fact there are two huge stories here.  

CBS officially lied for McCain. They covered for him when he revealed how he knows nothing about what is going on with one of the biggest issues facing America today.

CBS LIED FOR JOHN MCCAIN. LIED.

Keith Olbermann pointed this out in his broadcast tonight.

This is insane, and huge.

I'm sorry if some of you don't like DailyKos. Or Huffington Post.   But this is a huge story that needs to be discussed here, too.
